About Octans Research
Octans Research publishes independent research and reference pages on listed companies and markets, with a focus on names and structures that get less coverage elsewhere, such as US-listed Chinese companies and smaller US listings.
What we publish
Research articles that separate sourced facts from our own view, running trackers that are updated in place, and plain-English guides to how listings such as ADRs work. Everything is free to read, and independent pieces are published under the Octans Research Team byline.
How the site works
Octans Research articles are drafted with AI from the sources they cite and pass automated source and figure checks before publication.
Each piece starts from source material we capture first: company filings, official releases, primary market data and reporting from named publishers. An AI writer drafts the piece from that material, and an automated review decides whether it can publish. Drafts that fail stay unpublished. Not every piece is read by a person before it goes live. The full process, including what every report has to clear, is on the methodology page.
No issuer pays for independent coverage. Paid placements exist in a separate, clearly labeled sponsored lane and never appear in the independent feed. The disclosures page states this policy in full.
Errors and corrections
When we get a fact wrong we correct it in public and keep the record. The corrections page lists every correction and explains how to report an error.

Our RSS feed carries every new independent piece. If you use Google Search, you can add Octans Research as a preferred source which Google says helps a chosen site appear more often in your Top Stories.
